Herbaceous and softly sweet with gentle notes of warm hay and cooling menthol, its grounding aroma evokes the humble comfort of an herbalist's apothecary, inviting you to settle back into yourself.
One of the quiet pleasures of distilling yarrow is watching the hydrosol emerge as a luminous ocean-blue hue. This remarkable color is due to chamazulene. Developing naturally during the gentle heat of distillation, this is true alchemy. Grown beside the sea in our own Westport, MA gardens, each bottle carries a sense of steadiness, resilience, and quiet restoration.
Yarrow is valued for its cooling, clarifying, and protective nature. It is especially supportive when skin feels greasy, inflamed, or reactive, helping to soothe irritation while encouraging a greater sense of steadiness and resilience.
